About the role

At Computacenter, the role of a Senior SAP Specialist, Logistics spans the traditional disciplines of solution, business, systems analyst and of project manager. The role is therefore varied and challenging, giving the job holder the opportunity to take full responsibility for their project. The position may require travel to project sites throughout the U.S. up to 15% of the work schedule based on business needs.


What you'll be doing

  • Responsible for business change and continuous improvement of customized internal SAP ERP applications for Logistics and Supply Chain Management as part of an agile, dynamic, and focused team.
  • Collaborate with internal IS staff, business program managers, and third-party suppliers and partners.
  • Take ownership of a successful end-to-end system test, before managing the business test cycle through to a positive conclusion.
  • Provide the interface between business stakeholders and IS development teams, to elicit, challenge, prioritize and document requirements.
  • Ensure that systems development is consistent with the defined specifications and that cross-platform requirements deliverables are aligned effectively.
  • Manage third level support of existing warehousing systems.
  • Manage third level support of existing third-party warehouse system and relevant add-Ons.
  • Leverage specialized knowledge and understanding of Computacenter’s best practices and processes on assignments and business improvement projects that are complex in nature.
  • Create and update customized SAP documentation in accordance with Computacenter’s unique and technically complex SAP system architecture.
  • Maintain, create and update SAP process and training documentation, written and visual as needed.
  • Communicate, document, and demonstrate new SAP processes and business change request releases.
  • Attend, participate and communicate to peers the outcome and actions from discovery sessions, meetings and/or conferences.

What you have

  • This position requires, at a minimum:
  • U.S. Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in a relevant Business, Finance, or Computer Science-related field;
  • 2 years' experience in the job offered or any related occupation;
  • 2 years' hands-on experience working with Logistic Warehouse Management and Sales/Procurement SAP modules;
  • 2 years' experience developing and implementing logistics processes; and
  • 2 years' experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP).


Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is equal to $113,000 to $129,000
