About the role
The Sales Operations Analyst will perform a variety of activities in support of the Sales team and the rest of the organization. These activities include regular reporting of sales bookings, open orders, and invoicing, in addition to ad hoc reporting requests from sales management and national field sales. The Analyst will become an expert with company reporting tools to provide insights into performance, develop metrics, and synthesize data to support decision making within the sales team. The Analyst will be responsible for tracking and verifying assignments related to sales credit for commissions, particularly for Solution Sales. The Analyst will assist in maintaining accurate customer assignments in CRM and ERP systems that drive customer profitability calculations. This role will provide excellent customer service to the sales team and help drive improvements in sales processes, analytics, and tools.

What you'll be doing

  • Partner with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values.
  • Daily reporting of key sales metrics including bookings, open orders, and invoicing.
  • Reviewing Salesforce account owner and territory assignments.
  • Act as Salesforce trainer and SME
  • Provide regular reporting of KPIs for the sales leadership team.
  • Track solution team assignments for opportunity commission teams.
  • Maintain database for tracking solution team commission assignments and credit for those not maintained in company ERP system.
  • Regular reporting of sales rep dashboards and performance vs sales targets.
  • Assist in developing Salesforce reports and dashboards.
  • Identify target markets and customers
  • Perform regular vendor point of sales reporting and assist with customer specific reporting requests.
  • Maintain SAP customer master and profit center assignments with Credit team.
  • Consolidate sales forecasts with comparisons to targets.
  • Tracking accounts for international sales model
  • Learn about Group Sales Operating model and apply Group standards to US practices.

What you have

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • 1-2 years sales operations and/or customer analysis experience (preferred).
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • Good knowledge and experience of Salesforce, MS Office and MS Teams.
  • Salesforce reporting a +.
  • Strong Excel skills (data sets, pivot tables)
  • Power BI and/or dashboards a +.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strategic thinking and tactical execution skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good self-organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple requests simultaneously.
  • Can build trust, be assertive when required and shows initiative and enthusiasm.
