As a Workplace Architect, you will be an integral part of the Solutions Team, inside of the Computacenter sales organisation. You will oversee the architecture, technical engineering, and guide implementation of workplace solutions throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring that our customers receive robust and scalable solutions tailored to their needs.
Your primary responsibility is to provide technical leadership, guiding critical decisions on the most vital components of the solutions we develop. From the initial proposal phase through to successful delivery, you will play a key role in shaping the direction and success of each project. Your expertise will be instrumental in aligning technical strategies with business objectives, ensuring that Computacenter remains a trusted partner for our customers' IT infrastructure needs.
What You Will Do
Provide deep technical subject matter expertise, stay current on technical solutions and engage with our key Vendors (Dell, HPinc, Lenovo, Apple, Samsung, …)
Stay well-informed about the evolutions and developments on the market related to Modern Workplace and collaborative meeting spaces.
Create in-depth technical design documentation and corresponding documents: technical presentation and Bill of Materials.
Analyzing customer requirements and identifying and developing a fitting solution based on our proactive vendor portfolio.
Engage in key accounts, develop credibility and help build out technical solutions
Creating the supporting technical collateral for our sales opportunities in co operation with the Solution sales.
Providing input to the Solutions Sales teams to optimize customer budgets while keeping an eye on overall deal profitability (aim for win-win situations).
Keeping technical ownership of our solution delivery and implementation, ensuring agreements are being met on the technical level.
Conducting quality assurance throughout the solution implementation up until project sign-off and handover to the customer operational teams.
Giving customer trainings on new solutions.
Technology evangelist, delivering both internal and external updates to our portfolio
The Solution Architect is also involved in the pre-sales phases of our opportunities:
