Based out of the UK Human Resource (HR) Team, you will work closely with the UK & Ireland Head of HR and direct team, compromising of employee relations, legal, payroll, wellbeing and diversity & inclusion. This role is designed for an individual eager to learn and grow within the HR field, providing hands-on experience and exposure to various HR functions. The HR Apprentice will support the team in delivering excellent HR services while gaining practical knowledge and working towards a formal qualification.
As part of the HR function, you will be part of a team that has around 70 people based in the UK, covering all areas of Human Resources. With seven senior HR leaders and the Chief People Officer (CPO) also based in the UK, helping to guide and support the team.
As part of a new cohort, you’ll form great friendships among your fellow apprentices. What you’ll do
For the duration of your programme, you will be studying towards a Business Administration level 3 qualification. Throughout your apprenticeship, you will spend about 80% of your time in work and 20% to studying toward your qualification.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing administration support on HR matters such as health questionnaires, volunteering requests, tribunal administration, policies, audits, note taking.
- You will help update and edit the internal staff pages on the company’s internal webpage.
- Participate in HR projects by sharing your ideas and helping to put plans into action.
- You will help with tasks related to CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive). This might include gathering information, organising data, and working with others to make sure the company meets reporting requirements.
- Making sure policies are kept up to date, easy to find, and properly approved by the right people. As well as checking that policies follow company rules and legal requirements.
What you’ll need
- You must have achieved a minimum of 2 GCSE’s including both your Maths, English Language GCSE grade 4/ C or above.
- A keen interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Please note that for successful applicants, offers will be conditional on passing additional eligibility checks with our training provider which will include a Maths and English assessment and a review of any previous qualifications you hold. Due to the funding requirements of the apprenticeship, applicants must not already hold a business administration level 3 standard, GNVQ, BTEC or equivalent qualification to be eligible for this programme.
