Apprentice Programme: Level 3 Business Administration
Duration: 17 months

Join our Group Information Services (GIS) Agile Practice team and help teams across the business work better together. Agile is all about collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement and you’ll be right at the heart of it.
As an apprentice, you’ll support teams as they build their Agile ways of working. You’ll get hands-on experience researching Agile topics, helping to run team sessions like retrospectives, and supporting teams to understand how they’re working and how they can improve. You don’t need to be an expert—we’ll support you with training, mentoring, and plenty of opportunities to learn.
You’ll be part of a friendly apprentice community where you can build confidence, share ideas, and grow together. We value different perspectives, encourage curiosity, and create a space where your voice matters.
What you’ll do
- Spend 80% of your time learning on the job and 20% studying towards your Level 3 apprenticeship
- Support teams to improve how they work using Agile practices and techniques
- Research Agile topics and share insights with teams and Communities of Practice
- Help facilitate Agile events such as retrospectives
- Support team maturity assessments and help turn insights into improvement actions
- Assist with training sessions, case studies, articles, and presentations
- Learn how data and metrics can be used to understand team progress and improvement
What you’ll need
- At least 2 GCSEs, including Maths and English at grade 4/C or above
- An interest in people, teamwork, and learning new ways of working
- Able to listen carefully and share your ideas clearly and with confidence when working with others
- Able to plan your work and stay on top of tasks
- A willingness to learn, ask questions, and try new things
Important Eligibility Information
Please note that for successful applicants, offers will be conditional on passing additional eligibility checks with our training provider. These checks include a Maths and English assessment and a review of any previous qualifications you hold.
Due to the funding requirements of the apprenticeship, applicants must not already hold a Level 3 or above business qualification, including BTEC, A level or degree to be eligible for this programme
