About the role
The Human Resources Coordinator will support the Sr. VP, HR and the Human Resources team across North America with an administration of running the HR function and with a variety of projects and responsibilities. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with an exciting and expanding Human Resources team, managing day-to-day operations to ensure smooth and efficient operations of HR functions.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage scheduling and coordination of team meetings and events
  • Document notes from meetings and follow-up on action items through resolution, i.e. communicate with team member directly to inquire about status and provide feedback and updates
  • Provide support to designated staff with coordinating travel arrangements and expenses and maintain travel itineraries
  • Partner with SVP HR, and others as needed, on projects, and presentations
  • Provide support to the Learning and Development team as needed, including liaising with Group L&D, coordinating training sessions and seminars and organizing content and follow up
  • Liaise with other departments or functions to coordinate meetings, provide information, or provide follow-up
  • Manage calendars as needed ensuring controlled time management
  • Process purchase order requests as needed
  • Maintain organizational charts
  • Handle ad-hoc requests within HR team
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
  • Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance or direct to appropriate staff
  • Represent HR team and speak on behalf of SVP HR working collaboratively with all departments on designated topics and follow up
  • Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records and conducts periodic audits of HR files

What you have

  • BS/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; additional education in Human Resource Management will be a plus or equivalent in recent experience
  • Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems (SAP, ADP, SuccessFactors)
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Proven experience as an HR coordinator or relevant human resources/administrative position
  • A working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures
  • Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices
  • Strong ability in using MS Office (Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint, in particular)
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle data with the highest level of confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize and handle multiple requests simultaneously
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Team-oriented working and thinking
