About the role
The Communications Specialist is responsible for providing content leadership, planning, content consulting and campaign execution for internal communications activities. Accountable for full stakeholder management, both internal and external across activities. This role will require working collaboratively with all Computacenter North America departments to ensure we are communicate key information across the company.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and implement internal communications processes and strategy, managing channels across Computacenter North America
  • Point of contact and advice for internal comms across Computacenter North America
  • Delivery of internal comms
  • Manage internal communication process across multiple sites/geographies/management levels
  • Create internal communication plans and act as a central hub for internal communications
  • Act as Business Owner for internal mail groups, company-wide mail and other communication channels,
  • Manage publication and classification of materials to appropriate audiences
  • Provide "on request" advice/scripting/reviewing service for communication quality
  • Encourage continuous improvement in quality and creativity of Internal Communications
  • Enable a consistent approach to Internal Communications and in turn help to drive Computacenter Culture
  • Develop professional business relationships with our core partners organizations of the partner community.
  • Understand and abide by all security and operational policies
  • Embrace and support Computacenter’s mission and core values.

What you have

  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Development, Sales, Marketing or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in the technology industry
  • 3+ years working in communications or similar
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strategic thinking and tactical execution skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good self-organization and time management skills.
  • Familiar with current trends and developments in communications media
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple requests simultaneously.
  • Can build trust, be assertive when required and shows initiative and enthusiasm.
  • Resilience, and able to deal with stressful situations.
  • Business and financial acumen with strong analytical skills.
  • Commercially astute.
  • Team-oriented working and thinking.
