We are looking for a highly driven and experienced AP Process Owner to lead our Vendor Master Data and Accounts Payable process excellence area. In this role, you will champion operational efficiency, drive automation, and ensure high‑quality service delivery within our global AP organization. You will play a key role in developing people, improving processes, and strengthening our partnership mindset across the business.

On a daily basis:

Operational Leadership & Process Excellence

  • Lead the Vendor Master Data (VMD) team and ensure high-quality, compliant operations.
  • Drive and implement an efficient e‑invoice strategy and manage our third‑party invoicing platform.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain AP systems, procedures, and policies.
  • Lead large-scale process improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma methodology.
  • Oversee quality control within AP and coordinate audits, reporting, and control frameworks.
  • Deliver accurate management reports, dashboards, and VMD performance analyses.
  • Drive automation and support change management initiatives.

Team Leadership & People Development

  • Set SMART goals, coach team members, and cultivate a culture of excellence and psychological safety.
  • Manage team performance, development, and capacity planning.
  • Ensure full onboarding and offboarding processes, training, and skills development.
  • Conduct 1:1s, performance reviews, and Future Focus discussions.
  • Foster inclusiveness, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Resolve escalations promptly and proactively.
  • Develop stakeholder mapping strategies and run annual Partner Satisfaction surveys.
  • Represent the team in month-end closing routines, management meetings, and quarterly town halls.
  • Promote a partnership mindset and cross-functional collaboration across departments.

Compliance, Risk & Governance

  • Act as the first point of contact for internal and external audit requirements.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance across FSSC activities during migrations and BAU periods.
  • Identify and prevent potential fraudulent activities.
  • Ensure adherence to security, health and safety, and corporate policies.

You are the ideal candidate if…

  • You have minimum 5 years of relevant AP experience
  • You have 3+ years in an international SSC environment
  • You have experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced MS Office skills
  • You are fluent English; additional languages are a plus
  • You have strong customer‑focus and stakeholder‑management skills
  • You have excellent analytical, reporting, communication, and interpersonal capabilities
  • You have proven experience in mentoring others, you are interested in people management
  • You have background in project management, continuous improvement, and preferably Lean Six Sigma
  • You have ability to manage multiple priorities and to operate independently.
