Join our Tech Enablement UK team, where you’ll help build, test, and set up devices so they’re ready for our customers to use. You’ll make sure computers, laptops, mobile devices, and other equipment are fully checked, working properly, and prepared for delivery You won’t be focused on just one area. You’ll have a chance to explore a wide range of technology, supporting different teams as they solve problems and deliver great service.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll learn by doing, supported by a team of friendly colleagues and experienced mentors. You’ll also be part of an apprentice community, building you skills, confidence, and a foundation for a future career in technology.
What you’ll do
You’ll spend 80% of your time gaining hands‑on experience and 20% working toward your Level 3 qualification.
- Build, test, and set up devices for customer orders.
- Identify and fix issues with computers, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Set up equipment such as printers, laptops, and mobile devices to meet customer requirements.
- Label, organise, and track devices throughout the build process.
- Keep clear and accurate records of your work.
- Learn how to prepare and deliver technology efficiently as part of the team.
- Work with colleagues to share ideas, improve processes, and learn new skills.
What you’ll need
- At least 2 GCSEs, including Maths and English at grade 4/C or above
- Curious about technology and motivated to learn new skills
- Able to follow processes, stay organised, and manage your tasks independently
- Able to adapt to different tasks as needed
- Able to communicate clearly and work well within a team
- Interest in computers, laptops, mobile devices, and general IT systems
Important Eligibility Information
Please note that for successful applicants, offers will be conditional on passing additional eligibility checks with our training provider. These checks include a Maths and English assessment and a review of any previous qualifications you hold.
Due to the funding requirements of the apprenticeship, applicants must not already hold a Digital Support Technician Level 3 qualification, an IT support qualification or equivalent to be eligible for this programme.
