About the role
The Program Director is a senior manager in the Group Technology Sourcing organization, working with SVP TS NA and their leadership team – shaping strategy, enabling and tracking program delivery, and ensuring effective governance, knowledge management and employee engagement in the TS NA organization.

Annual salary range: $150K - $180K USD + Bonus


What you'll be doing

  • Work as integrator within TS NA organization, partnering across leadership teams to align priorities, coordinate efforts and drive forward TS NA strategy and program of activities by encouraging close cross-organizational collaboration.
  • Support the GTS Business Strategy and Communications Director with ongoing work to align and integrate the European and North American TS businesses, including local stewardship of Group Operating Model and associated processes
  • Lead priority cross-functional initiatives and drive operational improvements and change projects, as directed by either the Business Strategy and Communications Director or SVP TS NA.
  • Own the end-to-end governance and performance management cycle for SVP TS NA, reporting on program of TS initiatives delivering in support of GTS Three Year Plan for the purposes of tracking progress and benefits realization, including
    to Group Exec via QBR/MBR process
  • Collaborate with Group Finance and HR to assist SVP TS NA with financial and workforce planning, reporting and optimization
  • Support the SVP TS NA and their teams with timely, quality engagement with Country Unit Sales, including, but not limited to, information relating to portfolio, services, vendor partner updates and schemes
  • Develop presentations for SVP TS NA for internal, external and partner conferences and meetings, as well as relevant briefing notes for them and their leadership teams (for external and partner events)
  • Working with Partner Alliances NA to lead and support specific business development and marketing initiatives that materially impact our strategic vendor relationships
  • In partnership with aligned communications teams in GTS and Group Development, ensure timely and relevant internal communications updates and events (virtual, in-person and hybrid) are produced and delivered to colleagues in TS NA
  • Working with EA to SVP TS NA, ensure the effectiveness of leadership team meetings, including but not limited to, the development of agendas in line with strategic priorities, recording and tracking progress against actions, and
    identifying opportunities for learning and collaboration with Country Units, other Service Lines and Business Services and vendor partners / other external organizations
  • Other tasks as reasonably requested by the GTS Business Strategy and Communications Director (line manager), SVP TS NA (key stakeholder – dotted line manager) or Chief Commercial Officer (line manager+1)

  • Success is the design, delivery, and ongoing maintenance of efficient, reliable, and effective GTS platforms.
  • Successful collaboration / alignment of TS businesses in Europe and North America and ongoing partnership working – with clear evidence of individual role / impact
  • Clarity of, and adherence to, Group Operating Model for TS in-region and advocacy by respective leadership team
  • Evidence of successful cross-functional initiatives delivered by incumbent
  • Clear reporting cadence and templates in place to enable effective contributions to onward reporting
  • Positive feedback from Country Unit Sales, in terms of value and impact of individual and TS NA collectively in region
  • Quality, impactful presentations and briefings developed for stakeholders, with positive feedback
  • Effective internal comms and employee engagement cadences in place
  • TS NA leadership team well enabled and supported by Program Director


What you have

  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • 8+ years’ experience of working in strategy, general management and/or operations within corporate environment, ideally in IT or wider B2B
  • Specific experience of working as a business manager or equivalent
  • Project management qualification(s), e.g. PRINCE2, Agile
  • Worked in global or multinational environments previously
  • Previous experience in strategy or consulting role
  • Proficiency in advanced tools such as Salesforce, Generative AI
  • Experience with financial and performance management
  • Previous experience of leading internal communication or working with internal communication teams
  • Strong organization, time management and stakeholder engagement skills – credibility in working with senior leaders and delivering through others
  • Highly proficient user of core productivity platforms, e.g. Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Experienced in developing impactful presentations for / to senior leadership
  • Strategic thinker and facilitator who is hands-on when it comes to execution and detail
  • Flexible, resilient and confident in managing multiple competing priorities and projects – bringing structure and accountability to all that you do
  • Analytical thinker with data-driven decision-making abilities
  • Sound judgement and strategic awareness, proactively identifying opportunities to add value and amplify impact
