What you’ll need
15 years of regular education
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Network infrastructure like Routing, Switching and Wireless technologies.
• Hands-on experience on working with Network products including Nexus Switches, Cisco Routers, Cisco Switches, Cisco Wireless Controller.
• Hands on experience in dynamic routing protocols including OSPF, EIGRP & BGP.
• Hands on experience in IPSec, HSRP, VRRP, Ether-channel, Stacking, VSS, RSTP.
• Able to perform IOS upgrade of activities remotely for cisco switches, routers, WLC.
• Hands on experience in managing Nexus switches 7K, 5K, 2k. Have experience on VPC, FEX.
• Hands on experience in troubleshooting Wireless related issues, WLC implementation, AP replacement, Wireless client authentication, etc.
• Hands on experience on DNAC or ACI technologies.
• Hands on experience in WAN management, working with service provider coordination.
• Able to explain scenarios and have working knowledge and be able to troubleshoot the functions and operations of Routers, Switches, Wireless Controllers and IOS upgrade.
• Knowledge in ITIL framework which includes Incident, Change, Problem management.
• Able to monitor the health of network and traffic flow capture using monitoring tools.
• Good understanding and knowledge on DNS / DHCP / IPAM technologies.
• Industry standard certification like CCNA is desired. CCNP / CCIE is optional.
What you’ll do
• Remote management - Perform a range of technical work activities remotely to meet business and customer requirements.
• You will be working on industry leading technology and products including Cisco, HP, Aruba, etc.
• You will be troubleshooting complex network incidents across the regions.
• You will be implementing complex changes in network devices like Routers, Switches and Wireless controllers.
• Troubleshooting the incident events and logging history through tools including Spectrum, Solarwinds, DNAC, ACI.
• Working in Ticketing tools like Service-Now. Good understanding on ITIL frameworks.
• Provide quality of service to our customers for the ticket assigned to you.
• Communicate effectively to the customers on the ticket you are working to avoid escalations and improve customer satisfaction levels.
• You will be working with dynamic team, who supports our customers 24/7.
• Maintain SLA performance targets.
• Understand and adhere to compliance policies and procedures.
• Keep skills up to date with IT industry standards as appropriate to the role.
