Life on the team…

Part of the GTS (Global Technology Sourcing) Business Function, our Process Excellence Team typically undertakes improvement aligned with strategy or processes, with sponsorship from the Computacenter Directors and Group Exec.

As a Project Manager in Computacenter’s Technology Sourcing & Innovation, you will be supporting Lead Project Managers and managing smaller or less complex assignments or work- streams on larger projects and programmes.

On a daily basis:

Achieves profitability and customer satisfaction on projects through astute commercial management
Develop, build and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally in order to achieve project objectives.
Produce management reports through relevant tools to provide up to date information on project progress.
Produce required project documentation to enable successful project outcomes.
Coordinate and plan resource requirements to ensure project outcome deadlines are adhered to.
Compliance with Projects Practice lifecycle to ensure best practice.
May get involved in presales.
Act in accordance with Computacenter Information Security Policies and report any potential or actual Security events or other Security risks to the organisation.

You are the ideal candidate if...

You have the Prince2 Practitioner qualification or equivalent is an advantage.
You are fluent in English and French.
You have experience of working in International Projects Team on at least 2 projects.
You have knowledge of initiation change management, risk management, and the principles and practicalities of running projects.
You have proven experience of Microsoft applications.
You have excellent interpersonal, literacy,numeracy skills and ability to build relationships.
You are able to manage your own and others workload.
