French Speaking HR Specialist - People Operations

At Computacenter, our people are at the heart of everything we do. As a French Speaking HR Specialist – People Operations, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality HR support to employees and managers. You will provide professional HR advice, manage a broad range of HR operational activities, and act as a trusted point of contact for day-to-day HR matters related to France. Your contribution will help ensure a consistent, efficient, and people-focused HR service across the business.

On a daily basis:

• Act as a primary point of contact for employees, managers, and the wider HR organisation for standard HR queries related to France.
• Independently manage and resolve standard and complex HR cases, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, policy compliance, and confidentiality.
• Oversee the administration of HR-related procedures and processes for the French population.
• Take ownership of defined HR processes and act as a subject-matter expert within your scope, including knowledge management and training activities.
• Work closely with other HR teams to ensure seamless and high-quality employee support.
• Prepare ad-hoc HR reports, presentations, and documentation as required.
• Act as a role model by consistently demonstrating and reinforcing Computacenter’s values.
• Collaborate effectively with local HR colleagues in France.
• Support team coordination activities and contribute to onboarding processes.

You are the ideal candidate if:

• You have professional working proficiency in French and English (minimum B2 level).
• You have completed a bachelor’s degree in a commercial, HR, or related field.
• You bring several years of experience in an HR environment supporting France and have general knowledge of French HR practices and labour law.
• You demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
• You show a confident, service-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
• You are able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
• You have strong organisational skills and the flexibility to adapt to change.
• You take a proactive, analytical, and solution-focused approach.
• You have experience acting as a senior or trusted member of an HR team.
• You possess solid MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
• You maintain a high level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information.
• You have working knowledge of SAP HCM, SuccessFactors, or ServiceNow – any of these are considered an advantage.
