Life on the team…

On a daily basis:

Administer all variable compensation according to documented bonus plans and ensure compensation is properly accounted for and settled in the appropriate timetables
Build and audit commission and bonus reports
Administer the Commissions software program, currently Varcient, as business administrator
Support the Sales team by resolving commission payment inquiries
Be a consultant to the management for compensation related issues
Primary liaison between the Commissions team and all other departments as Legal, HR or Internal Service Providers
Anticipate/identify problems and proactively resolve them or highlight the issues to management
Oversee the calculation of manual commission and bonus payments as required
Month end reconciliation work including commission sub ledger to income statement comparison and balance sheet account reconciliation
Gain and maintain a deep understanding of compensation plans, source data and related business concepts
Develop and document best practice process flows
Innovate existing procedures and processes to find efficiencies that will allow department to reduce manual processes and shorten processing time
Prepare monthly and ad hoc analyses
Conduct regular audits of compensation plans and employee information to ensure plans and records comply with programs and best practices
Partner with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values

You are the ideal candidate if...

You have Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration, or equivalent in experience.
You are fluent in English and French.
You have 3-5 years of finance or accounting experience.
You have 1-2 years sales commission experience is an advantage.
You have a high level of knowledge of Microsoft Excel (at least VLOOKUP, pivot tables and macros).
You have an eye for detail, which enables you to be vigilant in your analysis in order to arrive at the correct conclusion(s).
You have strong written and verbal communication.
You are able to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
You have excellent organizational skills and able to prioritize and multitask.
You are able to work independently and exercise discretion and personal discernment
You have 100% confidentiality.
