Life on the team
What you’ll do
Perform end-to-end installation and configuration of Oracle and MSSQL databases.
Execute database migration and data copy activities, ensuring effective communication and coordination with Application Owners (AOs).
Manage database access controls to guarantee security and compliance.
Provide comprehensive documentation and system handovers to ensure smooth operational transitions.
Conduct cleanup and decommissioning of old databases post-migration.
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to address challenges and meet project milestones.
What you’ll need
Strong expertise in database migration, with proven experience in Oracle or MSSQL systems.
Reliable knowledge of migration processes, suitable for a Senior Engineer level role.
Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of German is advantageous but not mandatory.
Ability to manage complex tasks, including installation, configuration, and system cleanup.
Excellent communication and organizational skills for coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in technical documentation and process handovers.
