Computacenter GIS business unit is seeking a confident and experienced Test Analyst professional, a specialist resource skilled in testing concepts, process, develop test cases, execute and report in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have broad testing experience and should be able to adapt to test other technology including Test automation and other test tools.

Good communication skills and relationship building will enable the candidate to excel at the role and advance their career within Computacenter.

What you’ll do

Analyse business, functional and technical requirements and translate them into testable artefacts for ServiceNow and other products/applications.
Define test data requirements to support test case design as per test standards
Review change requests to identify impact on existing test packs
Execute tests and capture test results as per test standards
Assist the Test Lead/Test Managers during Test planning phase and progress reporting stage.
Assist with the creation of the test closure reports as per programme milestones if required
Ahere to test standards and process defined at the Organization level.

What you’ll need

Overall 4 - 7 years of experience as Test Analyst
Strong knowledge in Testing techniques, Strong in manual testing, Good in Test management tools, Ability to develop and execute test scripts with minimal supervision.
Good understanding of the SDLC
Excellent understanding of the Test lifecycle
Good knowledge on ServiceNow product as well as ITSM process to perform end to end functional testing
Good understanding on Defect management process
Collaborate with any other support or dependency groups during Test creation/Test execution/defects tracking
Create knowledge base as appropriate
Participate/Conduct Defect triage calls with appropriate details
Ability to understand the big picture of the project scope or the application
Regression suite identification/collection
Estimate test activities for your area of responsibility
Ability to communicate effectively and liaise with project, business people and 3rd parties
ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certification
Technical tool training such as Postman, API test tool, Java scripting etc.,
With good communication skills, interact with dev and business team to ensure defects and test execution are tracked to closure.
Ability to test interfaces to service now (.e.g. ability to use postman, generate and post structured data. Eg., XML.
