Life on the team

On a daily basis:

  • Prepares management and statutory financial reports on timely and accurate manner.
  • Prepares and submits Tax Returns to relevant Authorities
  • Submission of Statistical Reports
  • Manages external audits and tax audits.
  • Ensures compliance with Local Statutory and Tax requirements.
  • Acting as a manager backup when required.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong internal control environment within the team.
  • Managing all outgoing cash payments and controls the company’s cash balance.
  • Processing outbound billing for services provided to stakeholders and partners and keeping billing up to date and accurate. Actively requesting billing data from responsible managers.
  • Managing, booking & tracking incoming supplier invoices, expense claims and finance forms and ensuring approvals obtained for expenditures.
  • Managing Bank Accounting.
  • Managing Fixed Asset Accounting
  • Balance Sheet & Account Reconciliations
  • Completing month end close activities, calculating and posting journals, accruals & deferrals.
  • Coming up with improvement / automation ideas and leads them to solution.
  • Provide high level consultancy role within specialist area to peer group, customers and if applicable direct reports.
  • Manage and implement projects relevant to specialist area
  • Manages, develops and coaches team of staff and implement s performance management solutions where required
  • Develop and motivate team to help ensure the delivery of function and business targets.
  • Assess situations, issues and opportunities and escalate when appropriate.
  • Acting as a point of escalation on complex issues and providing appropriate support to other team members
  • Maintain confidentiality in all business-related matters.
  • Liaise with colleagues to ensure best practice and continual improvement in delivery of service to the business.
  • Establishes productive relationships and networks at Senior Management level to build and maintain customer relationships
  • Responsible for managing budget/ P&L to maintain spend in line with budgetary limitations
  • Responsible for the adoption of CC best practice and service offerings to ensure consistency of service.
  • Makes decisions which impact on the success of assigned projects i.e. results, deadlines and budget.
  • Act in accordance with Computacenter Information Security Policies and report any potential or actual Security events or other Security risks to the organisation

You are ideal candidate if:

  • You have advanced academic background, preferably to good degree level or equivalent.
  • You are fluent in English.
  • You are fully qualified or working towards relevant professional qualification (Chartered Accountant with active Registration).
  • You have good working knowledge of relevant functional systems.
  • You have SAP Experience – Advanced/S4Hana experience preferred.
  • You have at least 5 years' experience in finance.
  • You have project management experience and skills.
  • You are expert in MS office.
  • You have excellent Interpersonal, literacy and numeracy skills.
  • You are able to build relationships with key stakeholders and management.
  • You have experience in dealing with / influencing multi-tier management and working in a challenging commercial environment.
  • You have demonstrated an analytical and systematic approach to solving complex problems and assignments.
  • You have proven commercial acumen/preferably experience of business analysis
  • You have experience of developing best practice policies and procedures for functional area.
