Life on the team

  • Manage the transactional finance processes for several Computacenter Business Services on a global basis, including month end close, quarterly forecasts, annual target setting and strategic plans
  • Accountable for overall budget/ P&L ensuring that spend is in line with budgetary limitations
  • Contribute to business strategy (within own division/business area) and prioritise projects and objectives accordingly
  • Engage and work with Functional & Operational Managers to ensure issues are actioned correctly.
  • Production of Internal Executive Packs including commentary to identify and explain deviations from budget and forecasting year-end position. Provide insight to the Computacenter Executive team and deliver financial reporting to meet defined needs
  • Establishes productive relationships and networks at Executive level
  • Manages, develops and coaches team of staff and implements performance management solutions where required
  • Motivate team to help ensure the delivery of function and business targets
  • Manage inter-company processes, understand current invoicing methodology and be able to advise at point of organisational change
  • Manage functional reporting and key performance indicators (KPI’s) which provides insight to a variety of group stakeholders
  • Input into how more efficient processes and controls can be introduced
  • Involvement with ad hoc Finance projects
  • Highlight non-value added tasks and support elimination
  • Enforce standard process documentation methodology by regular process reviews and updates
  • Act in accordance with Computacenter Information Security Policies and report any potential or actual Security events or other Security risks to the organisation

  • You have general SAP and Project Management experience.
  • You are fluent in English.
  • You have advanced Excel skills.
  • You are able to communicate clearly with non-financial managers on financial issues.
  • You are able to multi-task and prioritise where appropriate.
  • You have a proven ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
  • You are able to analyze the root causes of problems and propose solutions and improvements
  • You are able to provide clear and concise information to enable others to take action.
  • You are confident in building relationship with key stakeholders and senior management.
